Vineyard    
The vineyards are selected from the area of Villafranca del Bierzo. The selection is made according to the following criteria:
     
Edaphoclimatic selection:   The selection is determined by soil type and orientation
Vineyard selection:   Vineyards are selected for their specific vine genetic history and their advanced but healthy maturity
     
Average vineyard age:   80 years
Yield:   5000 Kg/Ha - 5000 plants / 1Kg per wine
Total area:   2 Ha.
Height above sea level:   625 metres
Soil:   Franco-arenoso, low in organic matter. Good condutive values and a Ph level suitable for vine cultivation
     
Harvest    
Method:   Manual. Boxes of 15 kg.
